Later on, the ship heads toward the south shore and we then sail past the towns of Rimouski and Matane and we start to see the impressive windmill park which stretches on hill tops all the way to Cap-Chat. Near Ste-Anne-des-Monts, the St-Lawrence River now flowing with salt water, widens considerably. As we sail past the Chics-Chocs Mountains, we discover the particular landscapes of Mont-St-Pierre , reputed for its wind gliding activities. We then sail past the lighthouse at Pointe-à-la-Renommée and the fishing port of Rivière-au-Renard, then around Forillon Park and the Bay of Gaspé. After navigating between Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island, we sail on to Les Îles de la Madeleine .
