At Lake St-Pierre, we watch as the ship switches pilots. We later sail under the Laviolette bridge and past the City of Three-Rivers and the Shrine of Notre-Dame-du-Cap. After midnight, the ship passes under the two Quebec Bridges and we start to see the lights of the Château Frontenac and of Old Québec City.

Near Ste-Anne-des-Monts, the St-Lawrence River now flowing with salt water, widens considerably. As we sail past the Chics-Chocs Mountains, we discover the particular landscapes of Mont-St-Pierre, reputed for its wind gliding activities. We then sail past the lighthouse at Pointe-à-la-Renommée and the fishing port of Rivière-au-Renard, then around Forillon Park and the Bay of Gaspé.
