Is the crossing handicap friendly?

Our services are partially available to handicapped people. For assistance, please contact the employees in charge before boarding the ship. It is recommended to mention it when making your reservation.

What type of merchandise may I bring aboard?

All goods carried on the vessel must comply with the provisions of Canada's Shipping Act. Dangerous goods will not be accepted on board. Recreational vehicles carrying propane gas must have their cylinder's valve fully closed before boarding the ship. Electrical appliances must not be left in operation.

How do I make a reservation?

It is necessary to book in advance. For you reservation, please provide the following: dates of arrival and departure, type of vehicle and plate number, phone number and credit card information. A deposit must be made, payable by credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD) or by certified check. Please consult the company regarding reimbursement policies.

How many pieces of luggage may I bring with me?

Each passenger is allowed two suitcases and one carry-on. Passengers will receive baggage tags along with their ticket, and must then identify their luggage with their cabin number.

Is there a dress code on board?

No. However, we suggest informal wear in the dining room. A suitable sweater or wind breaker is recommended for strolling the decks.

Is the cruise suitable for children?

Children are welcome on board and can participate in all activities, when accompanied by a parent. There is also a children play area located next to the interpretation center/excursions office.

What about tipping?

As tipping is an expression of one?s satisfaction, the amount and method of payment is left to the guest?s discretion. We suggest 10$ per person per day and 15% for alcoholic beverages.

How about seasickness?

It is not something to be worried about too much. The ship is equipped with stabilizers that reduce pitch considerably.

How are the cabins?

The cabins are small but offer all the necessary amenities for a cruise. You should plan to bring certain personal items with you, such as shampoo and a hair dryer if you need one. The cabins have a 110 volts, 50 hertz outlet. The single beds are 30 inches wide and the double beds are 48 inches wide and linen is included.

Is it possible to park a vehicle at ports of call (Montreal, Quebec City, Chandler)?

Yes. Parking is managed by the respective municipalities and usually requires a parking fee. In the case of Montreal, there is access to a parking space for 40$ per week, taxes included.

Is there a planned program of activities on board?

Yes. Our animation team provides regular activities for passengers. Here are a few examples:
- Conferences
- Interpretation
- Movies and documentaries
- Wheelhouse visits
- Yoga and fitness sessions
- Live music in the dining room and in the bar salon

Please note that if you book a specific thematic cruise, the amount and quality of activities and/or entertainment may be more important then if you book a regular cruise, although there will always be many things to do and to see.

Is smoking permitted on board?

Smoking is allowed on exterior decks only.

What is the meal program?

Breakfast and lunch are served in the restaurant. Dinner is served in the dinning room. You should let us know your preferred time of dinner when you book your cruise, as there are two settings. One at 5:30 PM and the other at 8:00 PM.
