Access to the ferry

To get to the port of Souris on Prince Edward Island, from where the Ferry M/V Madeleine departs.

» From Quebec, Ontario and the Western Provinces:

The Ferry leaves from the town of Souris, in Eastern Prince Edward Island. To get there from Ontario, Quebec and the Western Provinces, take the Trans-Canada Highway #20 to Rivière-du-Loup in the Province of Quebec. Take Highway #185 to the New-Brunswick border.
Continue on the #2 Trans-Canada Highway past Moncton to Highway #16 towards Prince-Edward Island.
After the Confederation Bridge, follow the #1 Trans-Canada Highway until you get to Highway #2 in the direction of Souris (just before you get to Charlottetown).
When you get to Souris, follow the indications for the Ferry.

» From New-England :

Follow Highway 95 to Woodstock New-Brunswick, than take the #2 Trans-Canada Highway past Moncton to Highway # 16 towards Prince Edward Island.
After the Confederation Bridge, follow the #1 Trans-Canada Highway up to Charlottetown than #2 Highway towards Souris.
Follow the signs to the Ferry.
